After common dancing lessons for general public she has been learning latin-american dances for three years. She got to know salsa in 2002. Firt she attended cuban salsa lessons given by Ruben Pequero, Mandy Valdes and Juan Carlos Enriquez in Prague. Than she took lessons of L.A. salsa tought by Michal Sejkora and Daniela Sejkorova. Later also attended classis of El Ivanko, who teaches New York style (mambo "on 2"). For more than two years she was a member of the S.E.C.S Salsa Team where she was dancing with Marián in the choreographies Moulin Rouge, Heaven & Hell and Rueda de Casino on Czech and also foreign festivals, congresses and other events.

As most young people he attended dancing lessons for general public and after them took several advanced lessons. He got to know salsa at the university and started to learn cuban style tought by Ruben Pequero and Mandy Valdes in Prague. After that he started to discover L.A. style and New York style (mambo "on 2") in El Ivanko's salsa lessons. For two years he was a member of the S.E.C.S Salsa Team where he was dancing with Mirka in the choreographies called Moulin Rouge, Heaven & Hell and Rueda de Casino on Czech and also foreign festivals, congresses and other events.

Workshops - the essential source of inspiration
Mirka i Marián are still learning new salsa variations and dance technique mostly on foreign festival workshops given by well known salsa teachers like SuperMario (London), Luis Vasquez and Melissa Fernandez (Los Angeles), Johny Vasquez (Los Angeles), Frankie Martinez (New York), Susana Montero (London), Neeraj Mascara (Geneva), Pedro Gomez (Roma), Griselle Ponce (New Jersey), Angel Ortiz (New York), taneční skupiny Tropical Gem (Milano) and others.

What we love on salsa?
Salsa = improvisation. We like trying and working out new figures and variations. We love good music that gives you the opportunity to express all its aspects on the dance floor.
